About PIER (UK)
PIER UK began in 2001 as a civil engineering company. After first offering this specific service in 2009, we concentrated the focus of our business on solely offering our services to customers in 2012. We were so impressed by the capabilities of vac excavating when compared to traditional excavation methods, that we invested heavily in our resources and knowledge. Today, we have a diverse fleet of vac excavators, so that we can provide our customers with the best type of vac for their projects. Not only have we invested in our fleet and equipment, but also in our people. Our team of vac operatives are all trained, experienced, and professional. Whether they are working alone, or with your site team, they will always work to the highest of standards. We are accredited with leading trade bodies that help to maintain high standards within the industry, such as Safe Contractor and CHAS. We pride ourselves on upholding the high level of professionalism that these bodies exemplify.
Why Do You Need A Vacuum Excavator for Your Project?
Traditional excavation methods can be dangerous, expensive, and bad for the environment. Choosing to use a vac excavator on your site is a good choice. The suction method of extraction reduces the risk of cable strikes when compared to manual excavation. Cable strikes are dangerous and expensive, causing massive delays to projects, with long-term financial implications. Vac excavators are quick and efficient, clearing material quicker than other methods, thereby helping to keep costs down. The gentle nature of the suction method means that a vac excavator can clear earth from around tree roots without damaging them, and it can remove earth from under topsoil, without needing to damage the top layer, preserving local flora and fauna. Not only is it beneficial to the area, but also to the users. Traditional methods often generate much dust and debris which, as well as polluting local waterways, can also be inhaled, causing long-term health risks. The contained nature of vac extraction is safer, and better for everyone. It is easy to see why they are a popular choice for many projects.
How Does it Work?
When you come to us, we will always begin by discussing your project with you in more detail. How PIER (UK) Can Help?
We are experienced with all manner of projects. Whether you have some landscaping work that needs to be carried out on land that is inaccessible to wheeled vehicles, or an urban project, working on ground that is full of utilities, we can help. From our tracked vacuum excavator to our City Sucker, we have the best vacuum excavator for your projects. The capacity of excavators varies, so some are better designed for larger projects where a greater quantity of earth or material needs to be removed, our largest capacity vacuum excavator is the RSP ESE 6 with a capacity of 12 m³. We will always help you to choose the best vacuum excavator for you, to help keep costs down on your project, you don’t need a large capacity excavator to clear a small site, and a small excavator will be slower on a large site, due to needing to be emptied more frequently, our experience will help us to guide you on the best hire for your site.
